A Columbus vintage clothing store is expanding after opening in Highside Market last fall. Silver Hanger owners Owen Cotthaus and Felix Rosario opened the store in hopes of bringing the vintage trend popular in major metropolitan areas like Atlanta to Columbus.

The Cotton Companies, a real estate and investment firm based in Columbus, announced the opening of Nonic Beer Bar & Kitchen at Highside Market.

When Wynnton Arts Academy recently began the process to become a STEM certified school, they kicked off the school-wide campaign with a unique and experiential learning project. Franchise owners Jason and Ariel Esteves became fans of the restaurant after moving to Atlanta in 2007.

After years of delays and supply chain issues, the new Columbus development Highside Market is hosting a grand opening celebration that will double as a holiday event this week.


The Holiday Bazaar is a free public event that will be held at Highside Market, located at the crossroads of 13 Street and 2nd Avenue, on Dec. 14 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Ledger-Enquirer: This new vintage clothing store in Columbus fills the gap for vintage sellers and shoppers

Two business partners decided to bring the vintage clothing scene, which is popular in Atlanta, to Columbus with their new store Silver Hanger.


Owners Felix Rosario and Owen Cotthaus opened the vintage clothing store in a 445-square-foot space in Highside Market on 2nd Avenue on Oct. 6. The store offers vintage clothing, streetwear, accessories and select home goods.

John Pezold is a Columbus native and former Georgia state legislature who has spent most of his career in the food industry owning and operating McDonald’s locations.


He was excited to share the creative flavors offered at Whit’s Custard after the shop opened in Highside Market last week.

Sude Dellinger, an Alabama native, has developed Dragonfly Toys & Gifts to offer something more than the Barbie dolls and race cars that can be found in most toy stores giving customers a different toy store experience.

The Auburn-based youth clothing brand Fox & Pheasant will open a location in the Columbus development Highside Market, which is preparing for its upcoming soft opening this fall.


Fox & Pheasant was founded by Kathy Crowley and currently sells products online through the brand’s Instagram channel. The 512-square-foot space in Highside Market will be the brand’s first storefront location.
